Quick answer: FMCSA keeps a public list of self-certified, registered ELDs and a separate list of revoked devices at eld.fmcsa.dot.gov. Check both before you buy or keep a device.

LOGWAY pricing

  • $15 per driver per month
  • 14-day free trial
  • ELD hardware: $150 (PT-30 or IOSix), free same-day shipping, cable included if needed

How to check the FMCSA ELD list

  • Go to eld.fmcsa.dot.gov and open the registered devices list.
  • Search by the provider or device name.
  • Then open the revoked devices list and search again.
  • Save a screenshot with the date for your records.

What ELD registration means

FMCSA doesn't test or 'approve' ELDs. Providers self-certify that the device meets the technical rule and register it. A device can be removed (revoked) if FMCSA finds it doesn't meet the requirements.
